Things to have on hand not necessarily all at once, you may have many items already and it will take time to accumulate the spices, veggies, and meats that you like. These are the things I like to cook and cook with. Your choices will be different.

Try to have at least 2-3 fresh veggies on hand, and support your local Farmer’s Market when you can.
